opened the back and I pored the tech clean cleansing mist in and then I plugged in the back then when I slid it open it sprays mist on my ipad and I wiped it clean with the soft cloth It cleaned my ipad and Iphone so good no gunk on it or finger prints any more I really love this Spritz'n Cleaner I recommend if your looking for something to clean your phone or tablets this cleaner system is a great product
